W.I.P. [Work in Progress] is an interdisciplinary analysis of masculine forms and male tropes, utilizing the body as both a tool and subject of creative exploration. This series examines physical labor and the exertion of the body in an effort to manifest external change and transform space and shape. The artist’s own body is at the core of this study, acting as a vehicle of both intimate and public traits and behaviors. The result is a hybrid of the corporeal industry found in building construction/trades and creative/artistic production.
