Dennis Michael Burke is an interdisciplinary multimedia artist whose artistic practice explores a wide range of medium and media. His portfolio includes painting, drawing, sculpture, print, performance, digital media, video, and installation. His prolific approach originates from his background in both the arts and construction / labor. Constantly making and exploring, Dennis dives [literally!] into the process and performance of making alongside a complexity of visual narratives and representational methods.
Dennis acquired an M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts & Media from Columbia College Chicago; a B.A. in 2-D Studio Fine Arts at Eastern Illinois University, and studied abroad in Florence, Italy at Lorenzo De'Medici, Florence School of Fine Arts. He received a Certificate in
Painting & Drawing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Currently, Dennis works and practices Art in the city of Chicago, Illinois.
